A tumor in the mesothelial lining

Benign multicystic peritoneal mesothelioma (BMPM) is a rare lesion of the peritoneum occurring predominantly in young to middle-aged women.

The aetiology of this neoplasm remains obscure. Benign multicystic peritoneal mesothelioma (BMPM) is a rare tumor that occurs mainly in women in their reproductive age.

Benign mesothelioma, on the other hand, refers to a tumor in the mesothelial lining of the lungs or abdomen that is not malignant, or cancerous, and does not spread. Benign mesothelioma accounts for less than 10% of all diagnosed mesothelioma cases and offers a much better prognosis. When this happens in the mesothelial lining in the abdomen area, or peritoneum, the condition is called "benign peritoneal mesothelioma" or "solitary fibrous tumor.

(BCPM) is a rare multicystic tumour...

Benign multicystic peritoneal mesothelioma (BMM) is a very rare condition of unknown pathogenesis. Benign multicystic mesothelioma is a rare form of mesothelioma that is not considered cancerous. Benign multicystic mesothelioma affects the peritoneum of the abdomen. The peritoneum is the protective tissue that surrounds the organs in the abdomin.

Benign cystic peritoneal mesothelioma (BCPM) is a rare multicystic tumour that occurs predominantly in middle-aged women. So it is much less common than pleural mesothelioma. Peritoneal mesothelioma does not usually spread to other parts of the body. Benign mesothelioma. A type of non cancerous (benign) mesothelioma can develop in the lining of the lungs, or in the lining of the reproductive organs. The combination of cytology of the peritoneal washing, histology (cell block and surgical specimen) and clinical history allow differentiation of BMPM from other cystic lesions (cystic lymphangioma and malignant mesothelioma).

Benign peritoneal cystic mesothelioma is often...

Benign peritoneal cystic mesothelioma (BPCM) is often referred to as benign peritoneal cystic mesothelioma (BPCM). Incidence. Benign peritoneal cystic mesothelioma, first described by Mennemeyer and Smith in 1979, is extremely rare.

Malignant peritoneal mesothelioma is the variation resembling pleural mesothelioma, except the fact that it spreads in the abdomen. This mesothelioma hasn't got cancerous nature and the most common cure is removal with surgery. Cycstic mesothelioma of the peritoneum is a rare. There are two types of mesothelioma: pleural mesothelioma and peritoneal mesothelioma. The vast majority of mesothelioma cases (about 80%) are pleural in nature. Pleural mesothelioma can be either benign, which is localized and non-cancerous, malignant. Peritoneal mesothelioma is a cancer of the membrane surrounding the abdomen. This type of cancer can also be benign or malignant.
